Lee Hood Among Featured Innovators at Bezos Center for Innovation at MOHAI

MOHAI

On Oct. 11, MOHAI hosted a VIP event to celebrate the launch of the Bezos Center for Innovation. The exhibit features 13 innovators from the Seattle area, including ISB’s president, Dr. Lee Hood. Each innovator sat for an interview and snippets from each interview are woven throughout the exhibit on touchscreens.

Event attendees included Dennis Hayes, below left, who founded Earth Day. He and Lee Hood, below right, spent a few moments catching up.

Once the ceremony began, Gov. Jay Inslee welcomed the audience and praised innovation in Washington State, extending an extra note of thanks to the Jeff Bezos for his support of MOHAI.
