Lee Hood Systems Fellows Program

The Lee Hood Systems Fellows Program provides exceptional postdoctoral fellows additional support to conduct science within an ISB lab. The program provides a two-year appointment with the potential of a third year.

Nominations for the program are made by ISB faculty. Upon nomination, the applicant will be invited to give a talk at ISB and to meet faculty members. Final award of the fellowship is subject to the approval of ISB faculty.

“Lee Hood (pictured) is known as the father of systems biology, and his contributions to science and research can not be overstated. It is only fitting that this fellows program, intended to attract and retain exceptional postdoctoral fellows, is named after a true scientific visionary.”

– Dr. Jim Heath, President and Professor, ISB
