Mary Duray

Mary Duray is an artist specializing in furniture design, painting, and quilts. An example of her work is the Life of Leroy Hood quilt that is displayed on the third floor of ISB. Mary moved to Seattle from Southern California in 2017. Mary spent much of her professional life in the fashion industry in Los Angeles, Maryland, Chicago, and Hong Kong. She trained at the International Academy of Fashion in Chicago and interned in Paris with the Parson’s School of Fashion Design. Mary was introduced to ISB in 2008, and is interested in advocating for ISB programs that are focused on chronic ailments and autoimmune disease.
