Lee Hood To Receive Prestigious Award from National Academy of Sciences

The National Academy of Sciences announced today that ISB President Dr. Lee Hood will receive the NAS Award for Chemistry in Service to Society. Dr. Hood, who is also the SVP and CSO of Providence St. Joseph, is one of 15 individuals elected to all three National Academies. The announcement also honors four other recipients of NAS awards recognizing them for “their extraordinary scientific achievements in physical science and engineering.” Congratulations to Dr. Lee Hood and his colleagues!
