Investigator Conflicts of Interest in Research
The Institute’s Investigator Conflict of Interest Policy promotes objectivity in research by establishing standards that provide a reasonable expectation that the design, conduct, and reporting of research will be free of bias. In addition to meeting federal regulations and funding requirements, our policy strives to protect the interests and reputation of the Institute while ensuring public trust in our work.
The Policy provides guidelines for identifying, resolving or managing potential or actual Financial Conflicts of Interest that could directly and significantly affect the design, conduct or reporting of research results and/or affect an Investigator’s Institutional responsibilities. This Policy applies to all research conducted by the Institute.
