Wasif Rasheed is the executive vice president and chief revenue and growth officer at Providence, where he is responsible for the revenue cycle, telehealth, corporate development, strategic partnerships, and the for-profit, enterprise portfolio. This work aligns Providence leaders on the innovation and prioritization that will yield the best patient and caregiver experiences while driving accretive financial results. Providence’s vision of Health for a Better World requires technical, clinical, and operational advances using integrated technology solutions and services built at scale. The enterprise portfolio of businesses is piloted, tailored, and refined to ensure single source solutions that will overcome the cost-intensive and fragmented state of today’s healthcare operations. His organization builds go-to-market opportunities that will enable Providence and other health systems to deepen their focus on quality patient care.
Prior to Providence, Wasif worked at Microsoft for fifteen years, leading integration and synergy work for large scale technology acquisitions, as well as Business Insight teams that spanned the globe. He is the board chair for Truveta, and a board member of Tegria, Institute for Systems Biology, Cedar, Lumedic, and Bluetree Network. Wasif started his career with Deloitte and received his BBA in Finance from York University, Toronto, Canada, as well as an MA in Economics from McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. Wasif is the recipient of the 2021 Puget Sound Business Journal Health Care Leadership award for his work in advancing technology in health care.
