Dr. Charles Cobbs is the director of the Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment at Swedish Neurosciences Institute in Seattle. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Princeton, MD at UAB, and residency and fellowship in Neurosurgery and Molecular Neuroncology at UCSF. Dr. Cobbs discovered that CMV infection is present in glioblastoma, which has led to multiple clinical trials using antiviral strategies. As director of the Ivy Center, Dr. Cobbs is currently overseeing multiple innovative clinical trials for glioblastoma another brain tumors.
