The 2021 ISB Virtual Microbiome Series highlighted recent advances toward understanding general patterns of commensal population genomic variation within the human gut, how fine-scale commensal genomic variation is influenced by host phenotypic variation, and whether or not commensal genomic variation has an impact on human health and disease.
The inaugural ISB Virtual Microbiome Series highlighted recent in silico, in vitro, and in vivo advances toward engineering the gut microbiome to resolve complex diseases.
ISB’s 18th Annual International Symposium, called Future of Health, featured accomplished scientists and leaders from industry and academia who discussed how concepts and innovations are translated from the lab into real-world clinical applications and therapies.
